How It Works

How to Find Your Manual

Follow these steps to locate the correct product manual for your petroleum equipment.

Step 1

Identify Your Equipment

Locate the manufacturer, model number, and serial number on the equipment nameplate. This information is typically found on the cabinet door, motor housing, or control panel.

Step 2

Find the Correct Manual

Browse the equipment categories below or contact our team with your model details. We maintain documentation for current and legacy petroleum equipment from all major brands.

Step 3

Request or Download

Some manuals are available directly from the manufacturer's website. For others, contact us and we will provide the correct document — typically within one business day.

Best Practices

Tips for Using Product Manuals

Get the most out of your technical documentation by following these guidelines.

Always Use the Correct Revision

Equipment manuals are updated when manufacturers change designs, software, or safety requirements. Always verify that the manual revision matches your equipment's manufacture date and firmware version.

Keep Manuals On-Site and Accessible

Regulatory agencies and insurance providers may require that current operation and installation manuals be available on-site. Store digital copies on a shared drive and keep a printed copy near the equipment.

Cross-Reference Part Numbers Before Ordering

Use the parts list or exploded diagrams in the manual to confirm part numbers before placing an order. This prevents ordering the wrong part, especially for legacy equipment with multiple revisions.

Follow Torque and Pressure Specifications Exactly

Manuals specify exact torque values for fittings and bolts, and pressure ratings for lines and components. Over- or under-tightening can cause leaks, seal damage, or equipment failure.

Review Safety Warnings Before Starting Work

Every product manual includes safety precautions specific to that equipment. Read these sections in full before performing any installation, repair, or maintenance — even if you have experience with similar equipment.

Note Wiring Diagrams for Electrical Work

Always reference the wiring diagram specific to your equipment model and serial range. Electrical configurations can differ between production runs of the same model, and incorrect wiring can cause shorts, fires, or equipment damage.

Never attempt installation or repair without the correct manual. Using documentation for the wrong model or revision can lead to incorrect assembly, fuel leaks, or electrical hazards.

Common Questions

Product Manuals FAQs

Answers to common questions about requesting and using petroleum equipment manuals.

Yes. We maintain documentation for many legacy models from major manufacturers including Wayne, Gilbarco, Bennett, Tokheim, Red Jacket, and Franklin Fueling. If the manual is not readily available, our team will work to source it from the manufacturer or our archive.

We provide original manufacturer documentation whenever possible. In some cases — particularly for older equipment — we may supply manufacturer-approved technical bulletins or service guides that cover the same information.

Yes. Wiring diagrams are typically included in the service or installation manual for your equipment. Provide us with your equipment model and serial number, and we will confirm which diagram applies to your specific unit.

For most current and common legacy models, we can provide documentation within one business day. Rare or very old models may take 2–3 business days if we need to source the document from the manufacturer.

Most manufacturer manuals include exploded-view diagrams and parts lists with part numbers. These are the best reference for confirming exact replacement parts before ordering. If your manual does not include a parts list, contact us and we can help identify the correct parts.

We provide manual sourcing as a complimentary service for our customers. There is no charge for requesting documentation. For customers who are not yet ordering from us, we are still happy to help — contact our team and we will do our best to assist.
